IBGC ESG Community, a team coordinated by Beatriz Pacheco and Ricardo Young, and members such as Gabriela Blanchet and Gustavo Lucena, was in Itatiba (SP) to learn about a business that reduces the environmental impact of plastic and promotes inclusion and income generation of cooperatives. It is a company with the capacity to recycle 25 thousand tons/year of polypropylene and high-intensity polyethylene resins, which are used in the manufacture of packaging by large consumer goods companies, such as Unilever, Natura and L'Oreal.
