IBGC / Chapter Zero Brazil: carbon footprint reduction is still a challenge for Brazilian companies

The IBGC / Chapter Zero Brazil has just launched the Climate Change survey – Assessment of the Level and Readiness of the Theme, which provides an overview of the level of preparedness of organizations to deal with the topic of climate change from the perspectives: measurement, compliance, stakeholders, risks and opportunities . The study addresses five themes - carbon footprint, compliance, sentiment, risk and opportunities - in a sample of 139 respondents, including executives and directors, advisory and tax advisors. Despite the broad debate on the subject, a survey shows that 49.6% of organizations still consider themselves unprepared for targets to reduce their carbon footprint. According to the survey, cooperatives are the least advanced organizations in terms of to the aspects evaluated. Click on the image to learn more (need to register for access).
