Carbon Capture and Storage technologies, known by the acronym CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) are an important alternative for reducing CO2 emissions, with great benefits mainly for industries and producers of ethanol, biogas and biomass.
But CCS projects go far beyond contributing to the environment and can be important vectors of economic and social development as well, with the creation of green jobs and income for cities and states.
How do we develop these projects in Brazil? We will discuss the main challenges and opportunities for CCS in the country with big names in the energy and industry sector, members of government entities and Universities, at the 1st Brazilian Congress of CCS, organized by CCS Brasil, on September 20, in the online format .
